Westside CAN Easter Egg Hunt – Volunteers Needed

It’s hard to believe that Easter is only right around the corner. And for the last few Easters now, we’ve had the pleasure of helping ensure the kids of Kansas City’s Westside have had a memorable one. If you’re a parent that indulges their children in this very interesting holiday, then you certainly know what we’re talking about: one Easter Bunny, one large field, thousands of little plastic eggs and hundreds of kids vying for them which equals one heck of a good time. VolunTeams is committed to Westside kids walking away with not only sugar highs but also great memories they’ll be able to cherish for a lifetime. But we need your help!

Here’s what we need to make it happen:

o your time to help ensure the kids have fun, with such activities as: stuffing eggs, hiding eggs, corralling kids during the hunt, guiding the Easter Bunny, a social media bump

o 5,000 plastic eggs

o 300 cookies

o 300 small baskets

o individually wrapped Easter candy like, Hershey Kisses, Skittles, and LifeSavers
